The ideas behind this proposal seek to establish a relationship in scale and quality of space between agricultural industries, agricultural related tourism and outdoor recreation possibilities. The natural and manmade landscapes are striking and dramatic at their confluence where the two irrigation canals showcase a strong historic past. We envision the potential for integrating new and expanding areas into the already existing landscape; creating a master plan that will offer a comprehensive and enchanting image of the Region. This plan utilizes agri-tourism models throughout the world where landscapes produce tourism based on the bounty and peacefulness of agrarian culture as its inspiration.
