Caffé Umbria - Seattle, WA

In a city where Italian coffee is already a tradition, it was time for a new café in the Italian style. In an old historic Pioneer Square building, Caffé Umbria is the iconic cutting edge of Italian design. The stainless steel bar with absolute black granite and mahogany wood is juxtaposed to the warm earthy tones of the existing brick and timber building. It suggests modern design is possible while maintaining the existing historic context.
